THE LINGERIE ISSUE

this might be a very intimate topic but i realized i have never spoken about underwear on this blog! when it comes to buying new underwear i keep postponing and postponing.
for some girls jeans shopping is the shopping of horror and for me it’s underwear shopping. i seem to be caught in the endless wheel of fashion vs. comfort. i’m more of a black lace kind of girl but then i really really love those cotton granny bottoms. good thing: boyfriend likes both. bad thing: i never find something in between. i used to go with calvin klein underwear (which you can find here) which i reeeeally love because they’re comfy, sexy and stylish. but up to today i have not found any shops with THE perfect underwear. i don’t like push up bras and i neither like thongs… yikes. any suggestions guys??

ALL EYES ON: MIROSLAVA DUMA

a while ago when lovely anna told me i reminded her of miroslava duma, i have to admit i had no freakin clue who that was.
after finding out and already getting totally obsessed with her looks, more and more people have told me that we do have some similarities (which makes me mega-blush everytime). mira duma is founder of buro 24/7 (unfortunately only in russian) and former editor of russian harpers bazaar. miroslava duma’s style is very different from many other russian it-girls that never seem to put aside the huge furs and super-glamorous attitude. her styles are a huge inspiration to me, not only because mira duma is only 150 cm tall (can’t believe she’s even shorter than me) but because looking at her outfits is like looking at a fashion reincarnation of a painting by mark rothko or alexej von rawlensky. so expressive, so colorful, such a statement.

MIU MIU FW 2013

the sad thing about fashion events in vienna (and probably in many other places too) is that 90% of the people there are going to drink champaign, eat food and show off their fur coats. same in vienna a few days ago, when i went to see miuccia prada’s latest (well not so much latest) strike. people didn’t really seem interested in the pieces around them, which is sad for them, because this collection is REALLY worth looking at.

a collection fully set in nostalgia: sailor coats, dotted handkerchiefs and striped stockings – many items that we have seen in the first half of the 1900’s. there’s some comic like keys and a hint of pop art. a collection that once again states that miumiu is unlike many traditional brands such as burberry or louis vuitton, that never go far off their classic line, but has the courage to develop collections with twisted concepts that as confusing as they seem at first, work in the whole scheme.

NEW IN: PRADA

as i told you on instagram already, i went to the outlet in switzerland last weekend. despite not finding a dress for the chanel party, which was my initial intention, i found this piece of gold by prada. probably the most particular piece in my wardrobe, but already a big love of mine.

il weekend scorso sono andata all’outlet in svizzera, inizialmente cercavo il vestito per lo chanel party. non ho trovato niente, ma ho scovato probabilmente uno dei piú particolari pezzi del mio armadio. giá lo amo!
