DARIADARIA HOME: THE FIREPLACE

bio ethanol fireplace via westwing

after showing you my bedroom here’s a super small peak into my living room. but the real star here isn’t my living room: it’s my new fireplace!
i ordered it a few weeks back with westwing (they also hava an iphone app now! if you download it today you get a 20€ voucher!), an online interior store that offers daily sales with reduced prices. i actually never thought of getting something like it, but actually it’s such a design piece that spices up any living room. i bought the bio ethanol here and even though now temperatures are still too hot to have cozy fireplace evening, i am already dreaming about it…

sssshhht… leave a comment with your email adress and win a 50€ voucher for westwing!

i have been promising this post for such a long time now and i am so so happy i finally found the time to shoot this little video for you. ever since i moved back from milan i have been investing a lot of time in re-furnishing my walls a bit, trowing some old stuff out and adding some new things. with some time i’ll take some other videos of the rest of my apartment, but here’s the start: my bedroom!

ps: the wonderful mint plaid is from zalando home (just as everything else on the bed!).

SEXY STORAGE

after showing you here what beauty products i like to use, i now thought of showing you how i like to organize it. moving to italy has been crazy because i really am not the best at organizing. i’ve been craving the muji acrylic cases since seeing it on vicky’s blog. they incarnate THE perfect storage tool for me. there’s so many different sizes and shapes, i could go crazy in their stores. well how lucky am i, that there’s a muji store in milano?

COUCH POTATOE

This is one of the couches in my appartement. It’s super old so I am covering the ugly fabric with a huge blanket I got in Berlin last year. You can’t see it but there’s a big deer on it, which I love. I am kind of a nostalgic freak, so I like to put up old memories, photos, curiosities etc. My flat is more or less a little museum! That poster on the wall is from an exhibition/art performance I attended in Seoul, South Korea.
