Video: 8 Days In A Carry-On (English)

dariadariapackingvideobrazil

Hi everyone, today I’m back with another video in English, which was highly requested. We’re working on a solution to have more bi-lingual content in the future but due to a huge workload and very little time/ressources it’s going to take a little while.

Some of my most favorite videos are my packing videos, where I show you what I bring for my travels. I have started traveling with hand luggage only in the beginning of 2016 and it’s been the best decision ever!

The last trip I went on was a work trip to the Amazonian (see the pictures here), where we spent most days in the rain forrest and then two days in Rio de Janeiro. For this trip I was allowed to test the Tatonka Barrel S, which is a 45 Liter travel bag that’s carry-on size and can be carried both in hand and on the back. I picked it because it has a water proof material that’s easy to clean, which was important for this trip (humidity! mud!). Also I brought the Grip Bag, which is a hand bag, that also has shoulder straps, which allows you to decide how to carry it. My resume on both products is a straight A. I was so satisfied with both, because they’re perfect in combination and so practical and convenient. To be honest: there really is nothing that I can complain about with these products.

As a disclaimer: Tatonka is not fair trade certified, but they are a german, still family owned company and they have an open factory, which is truly unique in the outdoor industry. Normally outdoor brands produce in several factories, which then produce for different clients. Tatonka on the other hand has one single factory, that’s is owned by them, which gives them much more control on everything that is happening. Also anyone can come visit the factory, even regular clients. I love this approach on transparency and I think it’s really important in the textile industry.

If you have any questions, let me know!
