as soon as lancôme announced they would collaborate with alber elbaz, i counted the days to get my hands on the high glam eye collection. along with the iconic hypnôse range (hypnôse, drama, doll eyes and star) alber elbaz also dressed several mono and palette eyeshadows in funky patterns such as polka dots, hearts, stars and eyes. having these items sit on my beauty desk makes me feel like in a museum, it’s the perfect unification of fashion with luxury cosmetics. thanks, lancôme!
Step 1: BB Cream (La Roche Posay Hydreane)
a while ago ana, the most amazing graphic designer ever and founder of blog milk, asked me to prepare a guest post on a super quick beauty routine. click here to read the detailed instructions!
Step 2: Mineral powder (Bareminerals Original)
Step 3: Blush/Bronzer (Too Faced Pink Leopard, thanks to Vicky for the tip)
Step 4: Kajal and mascara (L’Oréal Paris False Lash Butterfly / & Other Stories Mohair Khaki)
i decided to go for an eye pencil, bronzer brush, bronzer and cotton pads. i have tried many things at the store and honestly could have bought everything. honestly though their prices are quite high, so i am really careful what to buy or not. their eye pencils have really amazing colors, but you have to be careful: they are super soft so tend so smear. the bronzer is really nice and gives a really natural effect. especially applied with the brush, which i think is really amazing and the best for it’s price (12€).
on the list of things you appreciate when you get a little older: wonderful, high quality soaps. when these acqua di parma “le nobili” limited soap collection arrived at my house, it was truely a mind-blowing experience. i have never owned soaps so fine and so rich in aroma. they come in three different smells (iris nobile, magnolia nobile and gelsomino nobile) and i am not sure wether to use them or just have them sitting on my reading table and stare at them for hours. same for the blu mediterraneo deodorant, that the boyfriend is trying to steal from me (italian men and acqua di parma, you know…). a unisex deodorant that is probably the most amazing deodorant i have ever owned (even though this phrase might sound super creepy.)
