DENIAL

shirt, arm cuff and trousers H&M
some might think: “is this the same outfit she posted a couple of days ago?” well yes, there’s a whole lot of this-makes-my-eyes-hurt-yellow involved, but it isn’t the same outfit. this outfit is my way of denying that it has -15 °C outside and really NO ONE in this town is wearing white summer trousers at the moment. unfortunately elin kling’s h&m collection isn’t coming to austria, but this pair of pants resembles the one she designed so much, that i had to have it the moment i saw it.

OUTFIT: YELLOW BLAZER

blazer and shirt H&M / jeans ZARA
sorry, but the upcoming outfit posts aren’t going to be the most exciting. a good friend has told me my blog has become more “posh” and she’s right. but with starting an office job i’ve started to dress a little more office appropriate. i do feel very comfortable with this change though. (yeah, i am growing a mustache now and start acting like a GROWN-UP, read the newspaper and talk about stocks).
yellow has been my all time favorite for the past weeks and i think this is the first post ever on the blog where i am not wearing a bit of make-up. but no worries, i won’t turn into a hippie.

OUTFIT: WHITE H&M TREND

paris is always cooler and more trendy than any other city. so is their h&m store on avenue des champs-élysées. it’s huge, massive, but there’s NO mirrors. i couldn’t find a single mirror in that entire store… anyway, that’s not what i wanted to talk about. remember how i raved about the h&m trend collection for spring summer? i saw the cardigan in vienna, but didn’t really know what i’d wear with it, so i left it on the rack. but when i finally found that sude bag (that i’ve been drooling all over at h&m’s showroom) at the french h&m, i got both the cardigan and the bag. they make a perfect match. adam and eve. batman and robin. cardigan and bag.

spiked

if i’ll ever win a price, let’s say nobel price or so, it’s gonna be for finding this coat! i got it in paris in an über cheapo-cheapy store, where everything smells like plastic. now i wanna say “that coat? it’s alexander wang.” well surprise, it’s not. i’m the last person that wants to spend all her money on clothes (instead i spend it all at restaurants, is that any better?) so no alexander wang for my closet. but this cheap find definitely looks like something people reblog from polyvore or any other platform that brainwashes 16 year olds to buy 4000 $ handbags.
PS: today’s my first day as an intern at a veeeeeery big company that you all know. i’ll let you know which one soon 🙂

snowy

yesterday it’s been snowing and snowing and snowing. i’ve put on my favorite sweater, my new h&m trend necklace and went, all bundled up, to see a really interesting play at brut. i was invited by two really sweet friends, who founded their own theatre blog (surprise, surprise: there’s actually blogs with profound content not evolving around nail polish and jeffrey campbells newest elephant shoe). it’s called die vierte wand and you should definitely check it out if you are located in vienna and into theatre or opera. anyway, the piece “tomorrow’s parties” was performed forced entertainment, an experimental theatre group from the UK. tomorrow’s parties explores the ideas of the future and it’s repeating clichés. just sitting there and listening for 1,5 hours was really exciting at first and then maybe getting a little monotone (“come on! do something exciting! where’s the special effects?”). the idea of putting simple thought and words instead of a story, scenery and dramaturgy is a really great one though. all in all the piece was pretty impressing, since i’ve never seen anything like it before.
thanks to the girls from die vierte wand! i had a great night.
