BLOGGER GIRLS NIGHT

last friday vicky from bikinis & passports invited some blogger girls to her beautiful appartment for some drinks. but not only drinks: vicky made the best snacks ever! starting with mozzarella-tomato-wraps, salmon-pumpernickel-tidbits and topping it with delicious cheese, grapes and chocolate brownies! wooooooah! can i please marry that girl? we gossiped (that’s what bloggers do! haha), drank loads of prosecco/wine and had a really good time. thanks for that wonderful evening, vicky!

blogger-princesses were: vicky from bikinis & passports , maria from stylekingdom, vanessa, anna from h.anna, sonja from fashiontweed, anna from mangoblüte and julia from fanfarella.

CHANGE

i REALLY needed some change. recently i’ve been crazy about changes in my life. i feel like i am drowning in work so much, that i have no time for things that really mean the most to me. i might be too radical about changes, but it feels so good to finally DO something and take action. on saturday my blog has its first birthday and i felt like it’s time for a new design. still need to do some changes, not so sure about the yellow. tomorrow i’ll finally take the time to do some outfit posts. and now i really have to go to bed, i feel like the biggest geek since i just spent 5 hours to change my blog layout. good night. i <3 you.

OBSESSION PART II

the “i am obsessed with”- posts have to be continued! since there’s a kazillion things i have a fetish for, i try to choose wisely and only pick the ones I AM REALLY REALLY IN LOVE WITH. so here it goes: notebooks. what? you expected something more exciting? hobbies like bungee jumping or collecting snakes are too far out of my league, i find excitement in collecting notebooks. i have always been someone who loves to go to school and take notes. i love the writing part, the getting-thoughts-from-my-brain-to-paper part and just the way they look. they have to be girlie and cute. in school my best friend always thought i was the most ridiculous person on earth, because i would always tear out a page and write it all again, if i thought my writing looked ugly. the booklet i am proud of the most? the one that actually says my name on it: madeleine. oh well, i am pretty hardcore.

THINGS I LOOK FORWARD TO

Feels like I haven’t been updating my blog in ages. So much has happened in my life recently, I even had troubles geting myself updated on my own life, haha.

I tried to make a list of everything I’ve achieved and things that inspired me in 2010: traveled through Asia for more than 3 months by myself, stopped eating factory meat, participated in a race, worked as an intern in an embassy abroad, celebrated my brothers graduation, laughed, cried, CREATED A BLOG.

So last week some sun came out and I started thinking about stuff I look forward to in 2011. People start making new years resolutions and end up upset because nothing ever turns out the way they want to. Instead I think about stuff I’ve enjoyed last year and want to keep enjoying this year. 2011s essentials!
