H&M FALL WINTER 2012

chunky knits, sparkly glitter and clean cuts. h&m’s fall winter ’12 collection does have some pieces that i desperately need in my wardrob. the dark blue coat (photo 1) and bra top (photo 2) are just a few of them.

H&M SS 2012

i am really trying hard not to excessively use the words AWESOME and AMAZING, but frankly: i’m having a really hard time. especially after attending h&m’s spring summer 2012 showroom yesterday i feel like i wanna repeatedly put those words in bold capitals all over this post. but to keep it less hysterical, i just wanna say: the collection haunts me in my dreams. i need every single piece of it. period.

after the showroom i got to take home a piece of the versace cruise collection, if you wanna know which one: check out my facebook page.

in all my going into raptures for the collection i almost forgot to announce the versace cruise collection winner! it was REALLY, REALLY hard to pick the best quote but the winner is …. drum rolls….  pilar! she posted a very sweet quote from from the movie “when harry met sally” and since she’s from argentinia and can’t get a hold of the collection, she also deserves it.

thanks to all of you for participating!

TALBOT RUNHOF SHOWROOM VIENNA

on friday i went to examine talbot runhof’s ss2012 collection. i felt a little missplaced at the location, first of all because i am 22 years old and second of all because i don’t have fake nails. but apart from some peggy bundy style pieces at the store the collection itself impressed me. i really liked the lace, polka dots and tweed.

LA REDOUTE SHOWROOM

La Redoute has always been a little strange to me. I think the company has someschizophrenic issues: they don’t really know what they are. The retailer that supplies families and old couples? The cool fashion company that offers brand new looks? That was also represented at their showroom in Vienna. Some pieces were truely awful and inbetween I found some really nice ones. Those lace-up loafers really blew my mind and the fluffy, white faux fur coat did too (obviously, I mean it’s fluffy!). But then: what’s with those ugly lacy dresses? Or those that look like they’re from Kik? Anyway, the office looked really cute, the models seemed a little confused, but La Redoute definitely scored with their great office interior! Look at that polar bear and the pink frog! So classy.
