Oh, UO!

Some new things I got at UO. There’s many things I don’t like about their products, because they do sell over-priced bad quality items. But a lot of their things are produced in the US and all organic. Also I just love how UO sets up their stores, every single one is so unique. I can’t help it, I go crazy in their stores every single time!

mornings in boystown

I never wanna leave this place. I love Nick’s studio, where I get up and do things like shrinky dink or drawing organs off vintage medical books! It’s such great inspiration being here. Excuse my out-of-bed-look, but hey: it’s authentic!

Chicago adventures: Goorin Brothers Hat Shop

Shopping yesterday we ran into one of the Goorin hat shops. There’s a couple in the US and I simply love how they keep up the tradition of classical hat manufacturing for fair prices in wonderfully designed stores. Their hats are timeless, chic and beautifully made. The two Goorin brothers started hat making in Pennsylvania in 1895 and it’s still around! There’s 14 locations in the states and you should definetely check them out when traveling overseas 🙂 Or take a look at their website here.

chicago day one

So yesterday we stayed in, drank two bottles of wine and looked at artwork. Really relaxing and inspiring evening. But today: what a great day! Went to Chinatown, went shopping in Wickerpark, checked out thriftstores and got a haircut! I had to go crazy at UO again… of course. Right now we’re getting ready to go out in boystown. I love Chicago so much and I still have so many more photos to show you!
